… a song recalling our adventures at
Darkwell War, A.S. XL

In the seventeenth year, pilgrims came from afar
To honor the now sainted king
Under threats of the plague they joined Stephen for war
And battles with creatures that sting
Follow the muse! The Good Baron did say
Recruit all the Templars to arm!
Only the bullfrogs show more fortitude
For you are The Virtuous Bards …

Ignoring the leeches that lurk in the lake
And enduring an ant infestation
Seven bards prudent for tutelage sake
Joined forces now for inspiration
How can we be safe and endure for to play?
With all that can bring us great harm?
Save hope! And we’ll swim only three times a day
For we are the Virtuous Bards …

A wolf came to Sterling deciding to stay
And practice her guileful temptations
A masculine menu she’d feed on this day
Was surely her earnest intention
Rally the wives! The Good Baron did say
Recruit all the Templars to arm!
Have faith in the women that justice be paid
Thus sang The Virtuous Bards …
