Each summer, Members and Friends of Cliar Cu Buidhe gather at Osd Cu Buidhe in Caid for a birthday celebration. The Members choose a different theme each year for the day long barbecue and swimming party. Regardless of theme, the evening hours bring all who remain to a gathering fire for a ceilidh, the sharing of stories and song. Guests are welcome by invitation, only.
Our annual Family Yule celebration varies both in size and description, as some of us often find ourselves traveling far from home over the holidays. Regardless, those of us who are available gather to celebrate the season together. Themes are common, — as are games, a simple gift exchange, lots of food and music! Attendance is normally limited to Cliar Cu Buidhe Members and Friends.
